The SR3-CX Lumen also packs more into each picture with a 78° wide-angle lens and a 0.5 sec recovery time meaning unlimited multi-shot / burst mode using the Strobe / Xenon flash – as long as the target is triggering the camera’s PIR. This ground-breaking feature now offers unlimited, Strobe / Xenon flash quality images (no motion blur) in quick succession. Preliminary testing has produced 8 x Burst-mode Strobe / Xenon flash quality images in less than 10 seconds – something previously impossible to achieve from any previous camera trap model..
The SR3-CX Lumen is a rugged, palm-sized camera with a secure clasp, as well as a ring for a personal padlock, ensuring the camera is not easy to tamper with. It also features a built-in pitch-angle adjusting mount, so you no longer need to wedge sticks and twigs behind your camera to get the perfect angle on the tree. Additionally, it features a built-in, front-facing 2” LCD colour screen so you can easily see where the camera is aiming during setup and what it will be taking footage of – as well as adjust and set menu settings. We’re making sure you take out the guesswork of aiming a camera trap with these two great features.
While most cameras on the market today use built-in infrared (IR) or black flash technology for night-time illumination, this only produces black & white night-time footage. With the Spartan SR3-CX Lumen, you can now enjoy crystal clear colour night-time images AND colour night-time video clips thanks to the Strobe (xenon) and White LED flash combination. The Lumen packs two different types of flash together for superior auto-sensing illumination to minimise ‘white-out’, over-exposure. The combination of nighttime videos & images and a wide-angle lens gives you the ultimate advantage.
